Heidi Rosbe

Heidi Rosbe has spent over 15 years designing, facilitating and managing programs for and with crisis- and conflict-affected populations in the United States and internationally, including work for UNDP, the Women's Refugee Commission, Project Common Bond and the Arab American Association of New York. She is currently Senior Project Specialist for Ahlan Simsim, serving as the International Rescue Committee (IRC)’s New York Headquarters-based focal point for the Ahlan Simsim program, an Early Childhood Development intervention in partnership with Sesame Workshop, supporting families affected by conflict and crisis across Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon through program delivery, government partnership and global advocacy.

From 2010 to 2018, she served as Deputy Director for Encounter, a nonpartisan educational organization working on conflict transformation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and is a trained mediator with extensive experience facilitating conversation across conflict divides. Heidi holds a Master of International Affairs degree, focused on Human Rights, Conflict Resolution and Gender Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). She lives in Jackson Heights, NY with her husband and two children.
